Prof. dr. Theo Salet Theo Salet is a full Professor at the Faculty of the Built Environment of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the Netherlands. His area of expertise is structural design of concrete structures, and his research is focused on the paradigm shift towards a digital transition in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry. He is a specialist on 3D printing of structural concrete structures by extrusion technology and the leader of the 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) research group at his university. His group develops knowledge on smart concretes, advanced printing systems and structural designs customized for printed concrete, as well as the relation between them, to increase on construction productivity, sustainability and health and safety issues for construction workers. In 2019 he became the Dean of the Faculty at TU/e, a function that he now combines with leading his research group.
