HL-Sunway Prefab Hub as the fifth and largest Integrated Construction and Prefabrication Hub (ICPH) in Singapore, is a three-storey precast manufacturing facility featuring state-of-the-art technology to produce a wide range of building components including Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (“PPVC”) components, Precast Bathroom Units, Precast Household Shelters as well as Large Panel Slabs under one roof.

Leveraging Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (“DfMA”) technologies, HL-Sunway Prefab Hub is well-equipped with an Automated Carousel System, an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (“ASRS”), an Automated material hoist for loading/unloading of rebar and batching plant with flying buckets, allowing automation of processes along the production line to enhance workplace safety as well as achieve productivity gains.

Built on reclaimed land, the 3.8-hectare ICPH  is also a BCA Green Mark Gold certified building with green design features enabling efficient use of resources such as energy and water for a cleaner and healthier work environment.

Green features at HL-Sunway Prefab Hub include:

• Tower batching plant with a flying bucket with enclosed raw materials storage and misting spray to lessen dust pollution.
• Holistic system design approach also provides a waste water recycling function to reduce water footprint and improve operational sustainability.
• Perforated Façade Cladding: Strategically designed to include natural ventilation and use of daylight to maximise airflow and mitigate heat, which will help to ensure the comfort of the workforce.
